We wanted to let you know how much our group enjoyed fishing on Dafoe Lake during the week of July 9-16th. The fishing itself was excellent. I don't think we ever caught as many fish on one trip as we did on Dafoe.

There were plenty of both pike and walleye. The largest pike we caught was 42 inches. We also caught two that were 41 inches and several in the high 30's. One of our group lost a pike that appeared to be close to 50 inches. The walleye were primarily in the 18-21 inch range although we caught a couple at 22 inches and the largest was 23 inches. They were all fat and full of fight.

The most positive comments from the group were about the facilities. The cabin on Dafoe was probably the best we have been in on our 15 years of outpost fishing. The large deck, shower and water filtration system were particularly enjoyable.

Good facilities always help make good fishing even better. I want to thank you for providing our group with a very memorable week of fishing.
